For Plex

Turn a Plex playlist into a TV channel

Fill in what you want below and copy the line it writes. Pasted into a Plex video playlist's description, it turns that playlist into a channel in Aster.

  1. Choose your settings. Anything you leave alone keeps Aster's default.
  2. Press Copy.
  3. In Plex, open the video playlist, choose Edit, and paste it into the description (Summary).
  4. Open Channels in Aster. The channel appears the next time the tab opens.
Your Plex library optional

Sign in to pick genres, networks, collections and more from your own library, and to load a playlist's current settings. You can also just type everything.

Your sign-in stays in this browser tab and goes only to Plex: there's no server here to send it to. It ends when you close the tab or sign out, and you can remove "Aster Channel Builder" any time under Authorized Devices on plex.tv. Nothing in Plex changes unless you press Save or Create and confirm.
